I grew up in Norfolk and at the age of 15 attended Vocational Ballet School in Birmingham. I went on to pursue a professional career in dance, performing all over the world. I feel very lucky that I was given such wonderful opportunities, to perform and see so many amazing places, both at the same time!

How did I get into baking!? Well...My love for baking started at a very young age. I remember being in the kitchen with my Mum, making jam tarts with the leftover pastry, asking her what I could do to help. I remember how excited I used to be when I could help my Nanny Peggy make sausage rolls (which are on my Afternoon Tea menu). I think I used to drive them crazy!

I have always had this passion to create in the kitchen, whilst baking the classics, I love experimenting with new flavours and using my artistic side to create beautiful designs. In 2018 unfortunately an injury occurred resulting in knee surgery. BUT you know what they say...every cloud has a silver lining. I spent all of my time in the kitchen, I baked and baked and baked! Until I realised I could no longer eat it all myself.  So, after a professional career in dance, performing worldwide I went from Ballet to Bakes. I feel so grateful to have turned another passion of mine into a business. I absolutely love what I do and I can assure you that each one of my creations is homemade and decorated with love!
